Draw Two Completed – Nova Scotia and BC move to 2-0 record in Pool A

Halifax, NS – After two draws at the Mayflower Curling Club, Nova Scotia and British Columbia remain undefeated and on top of pool A with 2-0 records.  Nova Scotia defeated New Brunswick 8-4, dropping New Brunswick to 1-1.  British Columbia battled Saskatchewan and scored a single in the 8th end to win 6-5.  In the other games, Alberta defeated Quebec 10 – 5 in seven ends.  Alberta scored two 4 enders against Quebec, one in the 4th and another in the 6th.  In the final game of the day, Yukon forced Prince Edward Island to an extra end.  Prince Edward Island was leading at the 5th end by a score of 5-2.  Yukon scored a single in the 6th and then went on to steal single points in the 7th and 8th to force an extra end.  Yukon then went on to steal the extra and the win, 6-5.
