Crossover games completed at the 2011 Canada Games

Halifax, Nova Scotia – Crossover games are complete in women’s curling at the 2011 Canada Games. In the battle for 5th and 6th spot, Yukon defeated New  Brunswick 6-1.  In the 7th -8th place game, Prince Edward Island scored 8 to the Northwest Territories 2 points.  Manitoba finished 9th with a 7-3 win over Newfoundland Labrador who finishes in the 10th spot. In the final game Sasktachewan won over Quebec 7-4, putting Saskatchewan in 11th and Quebec in 12th.


1st Place – 4th Place – to be determined on Friday, February 18th

5th Place – Yukon

6th Place – New Brunswick

7th Place – Prince Edward Island

8th Place – Northwest Territories

9th Place – Manitoba

10th Place – Newfoundland Labrador

11th Place – Saskatchewan

12th Place – Quebec

Play resumes tomorrow morning at 10:00 am with the semi finals of the medal round.

The bronze medal game will be played at 2:30 p.m. with the gold at 7:30 p.m.  All games are being played at the Mayflower Curling Club.
